Hispanic Heritage Month

Crowell Library is displaying a sampling of the library’s Hispanic Heritage holdings in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Learn about Hispanic/Latino culture and history in order to:

  • Help both the Moody community and descendants of Hispanic and Latino cultures understand, appreciate and celebrate their identifying with and contributing to God’s kingdom and American history.
  • Help all to Christianly interact with those of varied heritages and cultures.



Two Exciting New Databases Launched

Academic Ebook Collection EBSCO - More than 170,000 unlimited user access e-books, including 8,000 religion titles, from leading university presses such as Oxford, Cambridge, and Harvard, and many academic publishers such as Ashgate, Taylor & Francis, Sage, and John Wiley & Sons. Subjects include religion, education, language arts and discipline, philosophy, social science, literary criticism, and performing arts. Titles are regularly added to the collection at no additional cost.

World Christian Database - Comprehensive statistical information on world religions, Christian denominations, and people groups. Extensive data are available on over 9,000 Christian denominations, 13,000 ethnolinguistic peoples, as well as data on 5,000 cities, 3,000 provinces and 234 countries.



New Library Catalog

Moody Library Services is proud to provide a new online catalog starting on Monday, March 12. Along with offering the new online catalog, Crowell Library in Chicago will be joining 89 other Illinois academic libraries that are part of the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI) I-Share system.

BibleWorks 10 is available for up to ten students at one time to use in the computer lab on the lower level of the library.
